Referral Program Terms
These terms cover the Costumer Refer & Earn program.
The reward
You earn 100% of the referred customer's first month of net eligible subscription revenue.
Net eligible revenue is the amount Costumer actually collects for that first month, less taxes, payment-processing fees, refunds, chargebacks, credits, and any discount that was not actually collected. Taxes are never included in a referral payout.
Example: if the first month is $39 before tax and Costumer retains $37.57 after processing fees, the reward is $37.57.
Who qualifies
A referral only qualifies when the referred person is a genuinely new Costumer customer, the referral link was attributed before they signed up, and they complete their first paid subscription payment.
A free account, a free directory listing, or a free trial on its own does not generate a reward.
Anyone who has previously held a paid Costumer subscription, used their one-time free trial, or already generated a referral reward is not a new customer.
No self-referrals
You cannot earn a reward by creating another account for yourself, and only one referrer can ever receive credit for one referred customer. A customer never generates more than one first-month reward.
30-day validation period
Every reward is held in Pending for 30 days after the first successful subscription payment. After that period, valid rewards become Approved and are included in your next automatic payout.
Refunds and chargebacks
If the qualifying first payment is refunded, disputed, charged back, or reversed, the reward is cancelled automatically.
Reviews and abuse
Costumer may review referrals that show unusual patterns before paying them. Confirmed fraudulent or abusive activity can result in loss of referral privileges and forfeiture of unpaid rewards.
Sharing a household, studio, workplace, or internet connection with someone you refer is not by itself abuse; those cases are simply reviewed.
Payouts
Payouts run monthly and there is no minimum balance. You must complete payout setup with our payment provider before earnings can be sent; approved earnings stay available until you do.
Costumer does not collect or store your bank account details.
